Student reading a book in the library

Blackwell Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center provides residential living, academic education, career technical training and recreational buildings for our student population. These buildings encompass approximately 123,000 of net square footage for our mission of training students. Many of these facilities have been constructed by students as training projects, and the skills learned in these
"live" projects prepare students for future work in the building trades.

Currently under construction by our students are 9,000 square feet of additions to the gymnasium which will house all of the indoor recreational activities, improvements to some of the career technical training facilities, and modernization of some dormitory spaces.

Within the last four years, United States Department of Labor has dramatically improved the quality of our campus by investing over $3,000,000 in a new education building and a new 68-bed dormitory which currently houses our female students.

Aside from the dormitories, cafeteria, and wellness center, Blackwell Job Corps has several other facilities for our students' use. These facilities include a student bank, a computer center, and entertainment areas.
